Abstract: The central idea is that for progressing in the construction and - before - in imagination of new models of society, it is necessary, essential, the convergence of socio-political streams -socialism, environmentalism and feminism- that mainly represent cultural changes and social movements in recent decades. Convergence should include but exceed meeting in public demonstrations and should manifest itself in joint spaces for reflection, exchange, training, ideological and political development, as well as in instances for analysis and development of public policies, and even in academic work. The paper addresses the major historical and political elements that represent the positive impact of a convergence of these streams for overcoming capitalism, considering their origin and the evolution that have had their organizations, networks and movements toward demand structural changes in political and economic systems in recent years. The text also seeks to make a contribution to this convergence, proposing a series of initiatives and spaces to promote it in different areas.
