Here you can find information on the International Degrowth Conferences for Ecological Sustainability and Social Equity as well as other larger conferences dealing with the topic of degrowth.

General

The International Degrowth Conferences for Ecological Sustainability and Social Equity take place every second year. They are initiated by Research and Degrowth (R&D) and the Support-group who after each conference launch a call for the next conference. Conference 2018

2018 will see not one but three Degrowth Conferences:
> The 6th International Degrowth Conference in Malmö, Sweden, titled “Dialogues in turbulent times” will take place from August 21-25.
> The First North-South Conference on Degrowth will be held in Mexico City from 19-21st of June.
> A post-growth conference supported by various stakeholders (Members of the European Parliament from different political groups, academics, NGOs and unions) will take place in the premises of the European Parliament from 18-19 September
